An increasing interest is shown by existing and new customers of AMS Group to have 'out-of-the-box' design ideas and studies for 'challenges'  in their product design.

AMS' design engineers, which are based in AMS' Guangzhou office in Southern China, have proven trackrecords in designing bath room accessoiries, lighting solutions and a wide variety of housings for all kinds of consumer- and industrial products, as well as key path interfaces. Metal manufacturing experience on steel and aluminium is combined with a vast knowlegde on behavioural and strength characteristics of almost all kinds of (engineered) plastics.  Surface treatment technologies do not have any secrets for AMS' design engineers. AMS' design activities focus on design for asian manufacturing and designers work closely together with specialised plastics and metal engineers.

Since AMS is specialized in offering turnkey modules and systems from China to Western OEM's, also packaging design for safe transportation and handling is a competency area.  AMS' design engineers are managed by Western professionals.
